RULE §215.110Evidence of Franchise

(a) Upon application for a new motor vehicle dealer's license or an amendment of an existing new motor vehicle dealer's license to add a line-make, the applicant must submit a photocopy of the pages of the franchise agreement(s) that reflect the parties to the agreement(s), the authorized signatures of the parties to the agreement(s), and each line-make listed in the application. To meet this requirement temporarily for the purpose of application processing, a form prescribed by the department and completed by the manufacturer or distributor may be submitted with the application in lieu of the information described in this subsection. The applicant must submit the required photocopies of the franchise agreement(s) described in this subsection immediately upon the applicant's receipt of the franchise agreement(s).

(b) Upon application to relocate a new motor vehicle dealership, the applicant must submit a form prescribed by the department and completed by the manufacturer or distributor that identifies the license holder and the new location.
