In accordance with Occupations Code, §2301.361, a transaction occurs through or by a franchised dealer of the motor vehicle's chassis line-make if the franchised dealer applies for title and registration of the mobility motor vehicle in the name of the purchaser. An independent mobility motor vehicle dealer may prepare the documentation necessary for a franchised dealer to comply with the requirements of Transportation Code, §501.0234 in connection with the sale of a mobility motor vehicle.
