RULE §215.268 | Bankruptcy and Liquidation Sales |
A person who advertises a liquidation sale, auction sale, or going out of business sale shall state the correct name and permanent address of the business in the advertisement. The phrases "going out of business," "closing out," "shutting doors forever," "bankruptcy sale," "foreclosure," "bankruptcy," or similar phrases or words indicating that a business is ceasing operation shall not be used unless the business is closing its operations and follows the procedures required by Business and Commerce Code, Chapter 17, Subchapter F. |
