(a) At the conclusion of a hearing in a contested case,
the Administrative Law Judge assigned to hear the case at SOAH will
issue orders:
(1) setting appropriate deadlines for the filing of
the parties' Proposed Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law in the
case, if any, and the responses thereto, if any; and
(2) setting appropriate deadlines for the filing of
exceptions, if any, to the Administrative Law Judge's Proposal for
Decision, and replies thereto, if any.
(b) In the event exceptions to the Administrative Law
Judge's Proposal for Decision are not filed, SOAH loses jurisdiction
over the case upon the expiration of the deadline for the filing of
such exceptions.
(c) In the event exceptions to the Administrative Law
Judge's Proposal for Decision are filed, SOAH loses jurisdiction over
the case upon the issuance of the Administrative Law Judge's ruling
on the said exceptions.
