| (a) The local authority must maintain, and make available to consumers, current information about each community services contractor participating in its provider network. The information must represent all participating contractors fairly and must be organized and relevant to consumers. (b) The local authority must allow consumers to choose freely, without influence by any local authority staff or representative, any contractor participating in the provider network that provides the type of community service which the local authority has authorized for the consumer. |
