(a) Notify us in writing if the Texas Register publishes your agency's document with an error or omission. (b) Include the following information in the notification: (1) the agency name; (2) the date of the issue and the specific section of the Texas Register in which the error occurred (for example, In Addition, Proposed Rules, etc.); and (3) the nature of the error, and whether it was made by the Texas Register or by the submitting agency. (c) We publish corrections of errors in the "In Addition" section of the Texas Register. (d) After the effective date of a rule, we will not accept a correction that conflicts with the text on file with the Secretary of State. (e) Except as provided in subsection (d) of this section, we will publish a correction in the next available issue of the Texas Register. If the Texas Register inadvertently omits a proposed rule from an issue, the 30-day notice period will not begin until the rule is actually published. Otherwise, determination of adequate notice is an agency's responsibility. |
