| (a) An individual wishing to practice chiropractic,
and who is not otherwise licensed under law, must successfully pass
an examination.
(b) An individual seeking a license shall submit an
application to the Board.
(c) An individual shall verify by affidavit the information
contained in the application.
(d) An individual shall submit the required fee with
the application.
(e) An individual shall submit an application in the
format currently prescribed by the Board on the Board's website.
(f) Within 30 days of receiving an individual's complete
application, supporting materials, and fee, the Board shall notify
the individual of the individual's qualification to take the jurisprudence
examination.
(g) Submitting an application and fee to the Board
does not obligate the Board to license an individual until the Board
approves the individual as meeting all requirements for a license.
(h) The Board may deny any individual who provides
false information on a license application.
(i) The Board may revoke or suspend the license of
any individual who provides false information on a license application
if the false information is discovered after the individual was granted
a Texas license.
(j) The Board may deny an individual's application
for any violation of Texas Occupations Code §201.502.
(k) If allowed by law, the Board shall waive the license
application and examination fees for an individual who is a military
member or veteran whose military service, training, or education substantially
meets the requirements for a license.
