CHAPTER 156INVESTIGATIONS
RULE §156.1Investigations of Allegations of Abuse, Neglect, or Exploitation of an Elderly or Disabled Offender

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) shall investigate all allegations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of an elderly or disabled offender received from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in accordance with ED-02.03, "Ombudsman Program," ED-03.03, "Safe Prisons/PREA Program," and AD-16.20, "Reporting Incidents/Crimes to the Office of the Inspector General."
