RULE §215.149Sales of New Mobility Motor Vehicles

In accordance with Occupations Code, §2301.361, a transaction occurs through or by a franchised dealer of the motor vehicle's chassis line-make if the franchised dealer applies for title and registration of a new mobility motor vehicle in the name of the purchaser. An independent mobility motor vehicle dealer may prepare the documentation necessary for a franchised dealer to comply with the requirements of Transportation Code, §501.0234 in connection with the sale of a new mobility motor vehicle.
