CHAPTER 526BOARD OPINIONS
RULE §526.2Procedure

(a) The appropriate board committee will review requests for opinions and determine if the opinion request is appropriate for board consideration and if so submit a recommended action to the board. The board may decline to consider requests for opinions on interpretations of the Act or board rules. All recommendations will be submitted for consideration by the board at a regularly scheduled meeting.

(b) The board will consider the recommendation of the committee and will:

  (1) decline to ratify the recommendation of the committee;

  (2) approve or amend the recommendation of the committee and issue an opinion; or

  (3) take such other action as the board may deem appropriate.
