(a) Activities and routines must meet the unique needs
of children in nighttime care. These may include quiet activities,
such as homework, reading, puzzles, or board games; time for personal
care routines and preparation for sleep, such as brushing teeth, washing
hands and face, toileting, and changing clothes; and an evening meal,
breakfast, and snack as specified in Subchapter Q of this chapter
(relating to Nutrition and Food Service).
(b) Screen time activities:
(1) Must meet the requirements of §746.2207 of
this chapter (relating to May I use a screen time activity with a
child?); and
(2) May not be used in a cot, bed, or mattress, or
one hour before bedtime.
