As the primary caregiver, you must routinely be present in
your child-care home during its hours of operation; however, you may
be temporarily absent for limited periods of time for vacations, short-term
family emergencies or family business, illness, hospitalization or
doctor appointments, jury duty, to attend training, or to attend to
child- care business.
