| (a) You must offer a child a meal or snack every three
hours, unless the child is sleeping.
(b) Parents may provide meals and snacks for their
children instead of you providing them.
(c) You must ensure a supply of drinking water is always
available to each child. You must serve water at every snack, mealtime,
and after active play.
(d) All food and drinks must be of safe quality. You
must store, prepare, distribute, and serve food and drinks under sanitary
and safe conditions.
(e) You must not use food as a reward.
