(a) A new large Type B assisted living facility must
meet the requirements of 19.3.2, Protection from Hazards, in NFPA
101, Chapter 19, New Health Care Occupancies.
(b) A new large Type B assisted living facility must
ensure flammable or combustible liquids, including gasoline, oil-based
paint, charcoal lighter fluid, or similar products are not stored
in a building housing residents.
(c) A new large Type B assisted living facility must
protect any cooking operation according to the requirements of 18.3.2.5,
Cooking Facilities, in NFPA 101, Chapter 18, New Health Care Occupancies.
