| (a) Notice of processing. The parties shall have 45
calendar days after the date that the comptroller provides notice
that the request for RBA has been processed under §9.4207 of
this title in which to try to settle the case or determine that the
request for RBA should be withdrawn timely before an arbitrator is
appointed. A notice of withdrawal must be provided in accordance with §9.4208
of this title.
(b) Waiver of 45-day settlement period. A property
owner or the property owner's agent may request to waive the 45-day
settlement period. If the appraisal district agrees to the waiver,
the comptroller shall appoint an arbitrator to the request for RBA
pursuant to §9.4243 of this title.
