RULE §700.1106Obtaining Court Approval

(a) If a child is in the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services' managing conservatorship, the child's worker must obtain written approval from the court or the court's designee for:

  (1) placing the child out of state; or

  (2) returning the child to the family.

(b) If the court gives oral approval but declines to give written approval for either of the actions specified in subsection (a) of this section, the worker must advise the court in writing of his understanding that the court has given approval.
