RULE §34.1Purpose and Application

These rules are intended to explain the process for the negotiation and mediation of a claim of breach of contract asserted by a contractor against the department under the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2260. These rules are not intended to replace department procedures relating to breach of contract claims that are otherwise mandated by state or federal law.
