(a) An applicant for a nonresident public insurance adjuster license or temporary certificate must, through the law enforcement agency of the applicant's state of residence, submit a copy of the applicant's criminal history records to the department. The department shall use the criminal history records to determine eligibility for issuance of a license in accordance with this subchapter and other laws of this state. (b) The annual nonresident affidavit required by Insurance Code Article 21.07-5 §15(d) shall be made on a form available from the department and filed one year after the date the license was issued and annually thereafter. |
