SUBCHAPTER NMEMORIAL SIGN PROGRAM FOR VICTIMS OF IMPAIRED DRIVING AND MOTORCYCLE CRASHES
RULE §25.951Definitions

The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

  (1) Applicant--A person requesting a sign under the Memorial Sign Program for Victims of Impaired Driving or the Memorial Sign Program for Victims of Motorcycle Crashes in accordance with this subchapter.

  (2) Department--The Texas Department of Transportation.

  (3) Impaired--Under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance while operating a vehicle.

  (4) State highway system--The system of highways in the state included in a comprehensive plan approved by the Texas Transportation Commission, in accordance with Transportation Code, §201.103.
