| (a) The amount of the fee for the issuance of a license
under this subchapter is $125.
(b) The amount of the annual renewal fee is $75.
(c) In addition to the $75 annual renewal fee, an additional
late fee of $100 is required for a renewal license application that
is received before the 45th day after the expiration date of the license.
(d) A license fee is payable by check, cashier's check,
or money order made payable to the state highway fund, and must be
submitted with the application. If the check or money order is dishonored
upon presentment, the license is voidable.
(e) The department will provide a renewal notification
to the license holder at least 45 days before the date of the license
expiration and if the license is not renewed before it expires, the
department within 20 days after the date of expiration will provide
notification to the license holder of the opportunity to file a late
renewal application.
