The department's Zoonosis Control Branch will assume the responsibility
of collecting, analyzing, and preparing monthly and annual summaries
of rabies activity in the state. These reports will be forwarded to
national, state, and municipal agencies as requested, and selected
statistics will be sent to veterinary medical and animal control organizations
throughout the state.
