| (a) Organic citrus producers who plant certified organic
or transitional citrus will be required to pay an assessment in accordance
with Chapter 80 of the Code, and comply with all rules adopted thereunder.
The assessment will be in the amount set for the entire pest management
zone and will be billed in the same manner as all citrus grown in
the pest management zone.
(b) Agreements negotiated under §27.705 of this
title (relating to Eligibility for Indemnification) may include provisions
for payment of an assessment or reduction of payment to an organic
producer in the amount of an assessment for that acreage.
