RULE §215.111Notice of Termination or Discontinuance of Franchise and Time for Filing Protest

A notice of termination or discontinuance of a dealer's franchise shall be given by a manufacturer or distributor in accordance with Occupations Code, §2301.453 not less than 60 days prior to the effective date of the franchise termination or discontinuance. A notice of protest of the franchise termination or discontinuance by a dealer pursuant to Occupations Code, §2301.453 shall be in writing and shall be filed with the department prior to the effective date of the franchise termination or discontinuance stated in the notice from the manufacturer or distributor.
