| (a) DFPS conducts a statewide public awareness campaign
to educate the public regarding abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation
of alleged victims and to reduce the incidences of maltreatment involving
adults with disabilities and adults aged 65 or older.
(b) Based on available funding, DFPS utilizes a selection
of:
(1) public service announcements;
(2) program brochures and literature;
(3) a prevention website; and
(4) speaking engagements, by enlisting the assistance
of community organizations.
