(a) The facility and all of its personnel shall protect
clients' rights and provide competent services.
(b) Any person associated with the facility that receives
an allegation or has reason to suspect that a person associated with
the facility has been, is, or will be engaged in illegal, unethical,
or unprofessional conduct shall immediately inform the Commission's
investigations division and the facility's chief executive officer
or designee. If the allegation involves the chief executive officer,
it shall be reported to the Commission and the facility's governing
body.
(c) The facility and its personnel shall comply with
TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. ch. 164 (Vernon 2001 & Supp.
2003)(relating to Treatment Facilities Marketing and Admission Practices).
(d) The facility shall have written policies on staff
conduct that complies with this section.
