| (a) Standards for film produced by step-and-repeat systems are the same as other microfilm formats, except as stated in this section. (b) Silver-gelatin microfilm in roll or microfiche form must be used for original microfilm. (c) A density test and a resolution test for original microfilm must be conducted at the beginning of each day of filming and at a minimum of once every roll, or if using pre-cut film, every 3,000 images. (d) Adherence to the provisions of §6.24(f) of this title (relating to Image Sequence for Filming) is not required.
