Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule
The Texas Real Estate Commission (Commission) adopts by reference standard contract form TREC No. 38-8 [38-7] approved by the Commission in 2025 [2021] for mandatory use as a buyer's notice of termination of contract.

The agency certifies that legal counsel has reviewed the proposal and found it to be within the state agency's legal authority to adopt.
