(a)The board and/or the chair may establish board committees, advisory committees and task forces. (b)The board chair shall appoint members of the board to serve on board committees and shall appoint the board committee chairs. The board chair shall assign board members and/or the executive director to serve on advisory committees and task forces. The board chair may invite others to serve on advisory committees and task forces. (c)Only members of the board may be appointed to board committees. (d)Committee chairs shall make regular reports to the board in interim written reports or at regular meetings. (e)Committees may direct all reports or other materials to the executive director for distribution. (f)Committees shall meet when called by the committee chair or when so directed by the board or the board chair. (g)Each committee shall consist of least one public member and one professional member, unless the board authorizes otherwise. At least one public member of the board shall be appointed to any board committee established to review a complaint filed with the board or review an enforcement action against a license holder related to a complaint filed with the board.
