The Commissioner adopts by reference the following copyrighted standards and recommendations, except to the extent they are in conflict with sections of this chapter or any Texas statutes or federal law. The standards are published by and are available from the National Fire Protection Association, Quincy, Massachusetts: NFPA 101-2000, Life Safety Code and cited references.

This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
