Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule

Upon written request and in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the board may issue advisory opinions. Such opinions are not binding on the board or on the person making the request, and may not be relied upon as an official board ruling. The board shall maintain a record of each advisory opinion, identifying the person to whom it was issued.

This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
