Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule
(a)An application for a prepaid funeral sellers permit or perpetual care cemetery certificate of authority granted by the commissioner must be filed on a form or in a manner approved by the banking commissioner. The department shall issue a written notice informing each applicant either that the application is complete and accepted for filing, or that the application is deficient and that specific additional information is required. The department shall issue the notice to the applicant within 10 business days of the receipt of the application. [the period indicated for the following:]

   [(1)prepaid funeral seller's permits: 10 days; and]

   [(2)perpetual care cemetery certificates of authority: 10 days.]

This agency hereby certifies that the proposal has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be within the agency's legal authority to adopt.
