ACTION Final/Adopted
Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule

(a)The Board shall send a renewal notice to the registrant's primary contact at least 180 days prior to the expiration of the registration.

(b)It is the responsibility of the registrant to apply for renewal in accordance with Chapter 1104, Texas Occupations Code, and this chapter sufficiently in advance of the expiration date to ensure that all renewal requirements, including background checks, are satisfied before the expiration date of the registration. Failure to receive a renewal notice from the board does not relieve the registrant of the responsibility to timely apply for renewal.

(c)An application for renewal is not complete, and no renewal will issue, until all application requirements are satisfied.

This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
