 (c)Continuing Education.

  (1)A dentist seeking to renew a minimal sedation, moderate sedation, or deep sedation/general anesthesia permit must complete the following hours of continuing education every two years [bi-annually] on the administration of or medical emergencies associated with the permitted level of sedation:

    (A)Level 1: Minimal Sedation - six (6) hours

     (B)Levels 2 and 3: Moderate Sedation - eight (8) hours

     (C)Level 4: Deep Sedation/General Anesthesia - twelve (12) hours

   (2) - (3)(No change.)

This agency hereby certifies that the proposal has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be within the agency's legal authority to adopt.
