(a)The board and the respondent or applicant may enter into a settlement agreement following negotiations at any time without first engaging in an informal conference.

(b)Negotiations may be conducted in person, by telephone, or through any form of written communication.

This agency hereby certifies that the proposal has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be within the agency's legal authority to adopt.
