Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule
Public officials and employees of governmental or quasi-governmental units are exempt [exempted] from the requirement of being licensed as a real estate broker or salesperson while performing their official duties.

The agency certifies that legal counsel has reviewed the proposal and found it to be within the state agency's legal authority to adopt.
