(a)A person licensed or certified as an appraiser by another state, commonwealth, or territory may register with the board so as to qualify to appraise real property in this state without holding a license or certification issued under the Act if: (1)the state, commonwealth or territory licensing and certification program under which the person holds a license or certification has not been disapproved by the Appraisal Subcommittee; and (2)the appraiser's business in this state is of a temporary nature not to exceed 60 days. (b)A person wishing to be registered under this subsection must submit a completed application form prescribed by the board. (c)A person registered under this subsection must submit an irrevocable consent to service of process in this state on a form prescribed by the board. (d)An appraiser registered under this subsection may apply for a 150 day extension to the original expiration date of the temporary non-resident registration, provided the appraiser: (1)is performing an appraisal in a federally related transaction; (2)is continuing the same appraisal assignment listed on the original Temporary Non-Resident Appraiser Registration application; and (3)requests an extension on a form prescribed by the board, received by the board, or postmarked prior to the expiration of the current temporary non-resident registration; and [(4)pays an additional fee equal to the amount prescribed for non-resident appraiser registration in §153.5(a)(6) of this title (relating to Fees).]
