Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule

(a)Applicants are not certified, licensed, approved, authorized, or registered, nor are their certifications, licenses, approvals, or authorizations renewed, and may not hold themselves out as certified or licensed appraisers, or as appraiser trainees or as registered temporary non-resident appraisers, until the certificate, license, approval, authorization or registration has been issued by the board.

(b)A certification, license, approval, authorization or registration is issued when all requirements have been met and it is entered into the board's database and a certificate, license, authorization, approval, or registration number has been assigned.

This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
