Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule
The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

  (1)Department--The Texas Department of Transportation.

   (2)National Scenic Byway--A roadway designated as a National Scenic Byway by the Federal Highway Administration under Title 23, §162, United States Code.

The agency certifies that legal counsel has reviewed the adoption and found it to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
