Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule

(a)If an owner of the applicant has had a license to act as an appraiser denied, revoked, or surrendered, the Board may require the applicant to provide information concerning whether the owner's license was denied, revoked, or surrendered for a nonsubstantive reason as determined by the Board.

(b)For purposes of this Chapter, a nonsubstantive reason may include, but is not limited to:

  (1)mistake; or

  (2)failure to comply with technical requirements for renewal.

The agency certifies that legal counsel has reviewed the adoption and found it to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
