The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board adopts amendments to §157.9, Notice of Hearing, without changes to the proposed text as published in the September 7, 2001, issue of the Texas Register (26 TexReg 6835). The text will not be republished.

The adopted rules clarify what constitutes notice for a hearing in order to avoid possible misunderstanding by the parties involved.

No comments were received concerning the adoption of the amendments.

The amendments are adopted under the Powers and Duties of the Board, Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Act, §5 (Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6573a.2), which provides the board with authority to adopt rules.
