The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) adopts an amendment to §535.65 concerning changes in ownership or operation of school; presentation of courses, advertising, and records without changes to the proposed text as published in the April 26, 2002, issue of the Texas Register (27 TexReg 3433).

The amendment permits accredited real estate schools to request MCE credit to be given to instructors of real estate core courses subject to certain restrictions.

No comments were received regarding the proposal.

The amendment is adopted under Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6573a, §5(h), which authorize the Texas Real Estate Commission to make and enforce all rules and regulations necessary for the performance of its duties.
