Adopted Rule Reviews Title 37, Part 1 Pursuant to the notice of proposed rule review published in the October 8, 2021, issue of the Texas Register (46 TexReg 6953), the Texas Department of Public Safety (the department) has reviewed and considered for readoption, revision or repeal all sections of the following chapters of Title 37, Part 1 of the Texas Administrative Code, in accordance with Texas Government Code, §2001.039: Chapter 2 (Capitol Access Pass); Chapter 3 (Texas Highway Patrol); Chapter 8 (Capitol Complex); Chapter 9 (Public Safety Communications); Chapter 14 (School Bus Safety Standards); Chapter 15 (Driver License Rules); Chapter 16 (Commercial Driver License); Chapter 23 (Vehicle Inspection); Chapter 25 (Safety Responsibility Regulations); Chapter 35 (Private Security); and Chapter 37 (Sex Offender Registration). The department received no written comments regarding the review of its rules. The department has completed its review and determined that the reasons for originally adopting these rules continue to exist. As a result of the rule review process, the department may propose revisions to its rules when appropriate and necessary. Any future proposed changes to the rules will be published in the Proposed Rules section of the Texas Register and will be open for public comment prior to final adoption by the department in accordance with the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act, Texas Government code, Chapter 2001. This concludes the department's review of 37 TAC Part I, Chapters 2, 3, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 23, 25, 35, and 37. TRD-202200966 D.
