Notice of Application for Sale, Transfer, or Merger
Notice is given to the public of an application filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (commission) on July 23, 2018, in accordance with the Texas Water Code. Docket Style and Number: Application of Southwest Environmental Resources and the City of Rosenberg for Sale, Transfer, or Merger of Facilities and Certificate Rights in Fort Bend County, Docket Number 48538. The Application: Southwest Environmental Resources and the City of Rosenberg filed an application for the sale, transfer, or merger of facilities and certificate rights in Fort Bend County. If approved, Southwest Environmental Resources will transfer to the City of Rosenberg the 28-lot Parkplace Southwest subdivision water service area under certificate of convenience and necessity number 11648. The transfer includes approximately 40.30 acres and 28 current customers. Persons who wish to intervene in the proceeding or comment upon the action sought should contact the commission as soon as possible as an intervention deadline will be imposed.
