RULE §376.317How long can a participant receive refugee social services?

The maximum time period a participant may receive benefits is specified by the director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement. The current time period is up to 60 months (five years) from the beginning date of eligibility, as indicated in 45 CFR §400.152, except for citizenship, outreach and referral, and interpretation and translation services. Citizenship, outreach and referral services, and interpretation and translation services may be provided until United States citizenship is attained.
