The following statutes and regulations authorize the procedures
established by this subchapter:
(1) The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, 29
U.S.C. §701 et seq., and regulations of the Department of Education,
34 C.F.R. Parts 361, 363, 364, 365, and 367 as amended;
(2) Texas Human Resources Code, Chapter 91, Subchapter
D (concerning vocational rehabilitation services of the blind);
(3) Texas Human Resources Code, Chapter 111, Subchapter
D (concerning vocational rehabilitation services);
(4) The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act,
as amended, 20 U.S.C. §1400 et seq., and 34 C.F.R. §303.1
et seq., as amended (concerning early intervention services for children
with disabilities and developmental delays);
(5) Texas Administrative Procedure Act, Texas Government
Code, Chapter 2001, as amended;
(6) Texas Human Resources Code, Chapters 81 and 82
(concerning services for people who are deaf); and
(7) Texas Government Code, Chapter 57 (concerning court
interpreter certification program for interpreters for people who
are hearing-impaired).
