(a) A Board shall ensure that teen heads of household who have not completed secondary school or received a GED credential are enrolled in educational activities as defined in §811.50. (b) Teen heads of household who have not completed secondary school or received a GED credential count as engaged in work if they: (1) maintain satisfactory attendance at a secondary school or the equivalent during months in which school is in session; (2) participate in allowable activities, as described in §811.25, during months in which school is not in session; (3) participate in education directly related to employment for at least an average of 20 hours per week during the month; or (4) participate in Choices employment and training activities as specified in §811.25. |
