| (a) The purpose of this subchapter is to:
(1) Define abuse and neglect of children by school
personnel or volunteers in a school setting;
(2) Describe procedures for the report, investigation,
and review of such allegations pursuant to Chapter 261, Texas Family
Code; and
(3) Describe related procedures.
(b) For purposes of a school investigation, school
personnel and volunteers are defined in §707.605(a)(6) of this
subchapter (relating to What do the following terms mean when used
in this subchapter?).
